So my little blog here has changed SO many times! But it always ends up neglected. I’m always busy posting on my family blog instead of my personal one. I started this one as a surrogacy journal, then changed and used it for my scrapbooking. Now it’s taking on a new form…that of my weight loss journey.
I went yesterday (Saturday) to my local Sharp Hospital’s WLS seminar. It is required by everyone requesting some sort of weight loss surgery. It ended up being very informative. I’m so glad I went. But while I went thinking that I was going to pursue a Lapband, I have since changed my mind. I am now going to try and get approved for the RNY (Gastric Bypass). I’m very excited and scared about this. But fortunately, my husband is very supportive. My mom is scared, but I think she is coming around. 
So now this will be the land of all things related to my personal WLS. I hope someone finds it useful. If not, that’s ok. It will be a way for me to remember where I was and why I needed to change.

Hey! I saw you on http://www.beforeandafterhelp.com. My mom went through the same feelings, but she did come around. Now she’s the biggest supporter because she has seen how great I feel and how well it came out. Best wishes!
